James graduated from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen with a BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2008. Since then he has gained an excellent knowledge base across a range of clinical fields in the NHS in both Dundee and Edinburgh.

James took an interest in musculoskeletal physio early in his career while working with Madras Rugby club before moving to specialise in MSK physiotherapy. He has a special interest in orthopaedic medicine as well as sports injuries.

Since qualifying James has completed additional courses in orthopaedic medicine, taping, and manual therapy techniques and has recently completed an acupuncture qualification.

James has a broad range of personal sporting interests and achievements from running the Edinburgh marathon to previous Scottish universities trampoline champion! He also enjoys cycling, squash, golf, and snowboarding.
