Racheal joined Heal in May 2022 and we are delighted to have her on board. 

I love meeting new people and getting the opportunity to make a difference in someone's day; I find working with my patients to help them achieve their goals very satisfying. I have worked in private practice for five years now, and I have lots of experience working in different environments with many different types of people and injuries/ conditions.

I have also enjoyed sharing my knowledge and supervising Physiotherapy students. I enjoy teaching and I think it's so important for the future of our profession that we provide students with exciting and engaging placement opportunities.

I have also completed my McKenzie Institute Part A and B courses, the Peripheral Orthopaedic Medicine module, and I am due to begin my Pilates instructor training this summer - watch this space for classes! I am based at Heal in Dundee full-time, and I love the support and encouragement (and supply of Twix biscuits!) that the team here offers every day.

Out of work, you'll find me trying out a new recipe in the kitchen or reading a good book (I am always very receptive to recommendations!!); otherwise, I'll be braving the cold either skiing or open water swimming. I am hoping that this will be my first season of winter swimming - the current goal to work towards!
