Physiotherapist

At Heal, my time is split between the Dundee clinic and St Andrews University Sports Campus. I love that across both sites I get to assess, treat and manage a whole range of MSK injuries and complaints- variety is the spice of life! Before joining the team at Heal, I had worked in the NHS, a couple of other private physio clinics, and with the football academies at Hamilton Accies and Dundee United.

I have completed the APPI Matwork level 1, level 2, and level 3 training, enabling me to lead Pilates classes to clients in person and virtually from our spacious Pilates studio. I always really enjoy leading Pilates classes because we have a great core of long-term regulars at Heal who is always very engaging and seem to always have a smile on their faces at the end of classes (as long as I have not worked them too hard!)

I look forward to adding another string to my Physiotherapist bow as I will be completing my AACP Acupuncture training in the near future. It will be great to have another treatment option available to me for my patients.

I love running as much as possible to keep the waistline in check! I have run a number of Marathons, including the Edinburgh Marathon 10 times, and the Athens Marathon. I recently joined the Ultra Marathon club after running in the Glen Ogle 33-mile Ultra Marathon. My next big challenge is the “The Highlander Last One Standing” which I am equally nervous and excited for!

I also love playing squash, and a bit of me dies every time a sports centre converts squash courts into extra gym space.

In my spare time away from work and training, I am involved in Diabetes charities JDRF and Diabetes Scotland (as I have been type 1 Diabetic since I was 5) and I also love spending time with my girlfriend Rachael, my friends, and my family.
