Sally Runs London for Ataxia UK

Many of you will know one of our directors, Sally Kiddie. Sally is running the London Marathon on October 2nd 2022 and is raising money for Ataxia UK.

Three years ago Sally’s daughter, Eilidh, was diagnosed with Friedreich’s Ataxia. This is a rare, inherited, neuromuscular disease that causes problems with balance and coordination.

Ataxia UK is a charity that supports clinical trials and research into FA and other ataxic conditions. It also provides support for those people and their families affected by ataxic conditions such as Friedreich’s Ataxia.

Training is going well and Lynne has joined her on some of the runs too. Twenty miles were ticked off yesterday so it’s time to taper until the big day.
